  • Gavazzi provides solutions for the reinforcement of internal and external plasters with fiberglass mesh.

    Use

    The reinforcement of internal and external plasters and smoothing compounds prevents the formation of cracks and fissures caused by the settling movements of the underlying supports (bricks, lightened or prefabricated blocks, etc.) and external agents.

    The width of the mesh is functional to the grain size of the plasters: the larger meshes are well suited to coarser plasters, the narrower ones to fine plasters and thin skims.

    Laying

    The application of Gavazzi fiberglass mesh takes place on a first layer of still fresh plaster, overlapping the sheets for about 10 cm. A second layer of material is then applied, taking care to completely drown the mesh, preventing the possible formation of bubbles and folds.
